Autumn Term

In Literacy we learn
-to read and recite poems and rhymes.
-to read stories and describe story settings.
-to write short captions and labels.
-to use full stops at the end of a sentence.
-to build short words such as log, cup and bat.

In Maths we learn
-to count to twenty and read and write all the numbers to twenty.
-to double numbers up to ten.
-to add and take away with numbers to twenty.
-to measure length.
-to read o'clock times on a clock.

Our creative topic for the first half of the term is houses and homes.

The second half of the term our creative topic is light

In R.E. we talk about ourselves and our families and think about things that are special to us.
